Graphic/Animation Designer Placement

We need a creative and ideas-orientated positive person who can work well with the different teams we have in our Birmingham Office as well as those working across our different NHS sites and research labs. You will be a responsible, organised and flexible professional with a good attention to detail.

The Graphic Designer can look forward to working alongside other members of the team and getting involved in a variety of business specific and client facing tasks.

We offer two unpaid placement opportunities:

  • Summer placement (between June – September 2022). This role is open for any interested applicants.
  • 12-month Undergraduate placement (starting summer 2022). This role is ONLY open for undergraduate students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding project requirements and ideas.
  • Using graphic techniques to create drafts.
  • Producing logos, banners, and interfaces.
  • Pitching creative concepts.
  • Collaborating with the team to launch projects.
  • Using feedback from other designers to improve.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience with design software and graphics editing software.
  • Knowledge of design techniques.
  • Ability to work well within a team.
  • Time management skills.
  • A talent for creativity and problem-solving.

We work with NHS patients and our different sites holds confidential and sensitive NHS patient data. This is why we have all employees in those settings complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring (DBS) check.
