Asthma – Symptoms

There are four typical symptoms associated with asthma, these are,

  • Wheezing of the chest
  • Feeling breathless
  • The chest feeling tight
  • Coughing

If any of the above symptoms worsen from point of onset it is referred to as asthma attack. Asthma attacks are a concern because they result in approximately three deaths per day in the UK.

These deaths can be reduced and minimised through continued education and awareness around the risks of failing to address the symptoms of asthma when it arises in a person. This is one of the reasons why future genetics has created this educational presentation on asthma. I hope you will take time to listen through this and become particularly familiar with the symptoms, diagnosis and treatment if nothing else.
